IT Coordinator

Anderson Engineering has an opening for an Information Technology (IT) Coordinator. The successful candidate will have the ability to take the company’s vision and implement the strategies and infrastructure for the IT Department. Applicant must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills is a necessity.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Oversees IT operations for all offices
  • Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure
  • Identifies and eliminates security risks including training of team to prevent cyber intrusions
  • Analyzes business requirements for IT needs and systems
  • Works to increase user satisfaction of hardware & software
  • Evaluates IT operations with regard to established goals
  • Communicates with the AE team across departments and offices
  • Assesses need for new equipment & software and coordinates deployment
  • Builds and maintains relationships with outside vendors
  • Develops & implements backup plan for company data

Qualifications

Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, storage systems, and software including Microsoft and Google; Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills; Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects; Solid working knowledge of all relevant software and security protocols; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Team oriented; Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field (graduate degree a plus); Minimum four years’ experience working in IT operations; Minimum two years’ experience overseeing IT teams and projects;
